After recent announcements regarding the proposed welfare benefits, we know that many people are worried, scared and angry about the proposals. We are urging people to not panic about the proposals. A green paper is what the government would like to achieve; they are not set in stone and are not confirmed. They are subject to review and pushback from stakeholders, and the current set of pans are likely to face legal challenges.

There is a consultation period, and if you would like to make your voice heard about the proposals, the time is NOW to act. There is an online form where you can have your say. Whilst we believe that this current form is not fit for purpose and does not ask the real relevant questions, it is still worth filling it out to have your say if you wish.
