We at Fightback4Justice were recently featured in an ITV News report highlighting the serious failings within the welfare system. This segment focused on the struggles many people face when trying to obtain or retain the benefits they are rightfully entitled to, particularly at the tribunal stage.

ITV News covered the stories of two of our past clients, both of whom have experienced firsthand the injustice of the system. Their stories reflect the harsh reality many vulnerable individuals face—having benefits wrongly reduced or removed, enduring long and stressful appeals, and navigating a complex, often unsympathetic bureaucracy.

As part of the report, our dear Nicky, who is sadly no longer with us, shared her experience of key evidence being ignored by the decision maker. Her testimony provided a powerful insight into the daily struggles disabled individuals face. Our founder, Michelle, a legally qualified lawyer, also spoke about the crucial work we do and highlighted the unjust way our two former clients were treated.

Since founding Fightback4Justice in 2013, we have been dedicated to challenging these injustices and ensuring that those in need receive the support they deserve. With a 91% success rate in disability benefit appeals over the past 12 months, we continue to make a real difference in the lives of those failed by the system.
